Printfont.otf
Wir stellen unsere Desktop-Schriften (zur Installation auf einem Desktop-PC — Druckvorstufe) im postscript-basierten OpenType-Format (.otf) zur Verfügung, welches das Standard Format für Schriften im Bereich Print darstellt und plattformübergreifend (Windows, Mac OS) installierbar ist.
Webfont.woff
TrueType Format (.ttf): Das TrueType Format ist zurzeit immer noch die Ausgangsposition für die Erstellung unserer Webfonts. Wir arbeiten unsere Schriften nach Fertigstellung in das TrueType Format um und optimieren hierbei insbesondere die Darstellung auf der Windows Plattform (Cleartype Rendering).
Leider ist es nach wie vor nicht möglich, in der Darstellung der Schriften am Bildschirm eine plattform- und applikations- bzw. browser-übergreifend gleichbleibende Darstellung (und Darstellungsqualität) zu erreichen.
Die überarbeiteten TrueTypes werden dann
in folgende Webfont Formate umgewandelt:

1 ) woff (Web Open Font Format)
ein komprimierendes Container-Format, Webstandard,
wird von den üblichen Browsern unterstützt (seit 2012).
2 ) eot (Embedded Open Type)
dieses Format benötigt der Internet Explorer bis Version 8.
3 ) svg (Scalable Vector Graphics)
für spezielle Anforderungen und Aufgaben …
Standardmäßig liefern wir nur das Webfont-Dateiformat WOFF aus. Falls Sie eines der anderen Schriftformate wie EOT oder SVG benötigen, teien Sie uns dies einfach mit Ihrer Order mit.
Desktop-formats: We issue our fonts in the postscript-flavoured OpenType fontformat (.otf) which can be used cross-platform (Windows, Mac OS).
Webfont-formats: The TrueType fontformat
(TTF) is the starting point for our Webfonts. After finishing the work on our postscript-flavoured
(CFF) OpenType fonts we convert these files into the TrueType format with a detailed impact on optimizing the appearance on those machines using the Windows (Cleartype) rendering technology.
Unfortunately it is not possible for type designers nowadays to achieve a consistent appearance of their fonts on all operating systems and all browsers.
The reworked TrueTypes
are converted into the following Webfont formats:

In the standard procedure we deliver only the WOFF format. If you need one of the other formats (EOT, SVG) just tell us with your order.
